We found a picture on the net of a red and black version. As we put on the title its may need some tender loving care to bring it back to life, we are not experts, so its as seen. Its mostly black in colour with great touches of yellow ie handle, centre of speakers and knob on top of ariel. The material its made from is modern plastic no bakelite or Catalin. The power lead is fine we will take off the plug you see in the photo as I believe you are not allowed to sell anything with it attached. The battery case on the back is complete, it takes 6 size "C" R14 or 1.5 volt. The ariel works is still fully extendable with its bright yellow round end. My Husband has looked at it again and he still says the cassette is stuck and needs help and repair! We couldn't try using the recorder as even though I am a real magpie I hadn't kept any cassettes! The radio works. Co-Designer of the Roller Radio in 1983 was Murray Camens, This Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder (D8008) had an ID Magazine Commendation USA IN 1986. The cassette player became stuck and would not work, hence it was put up into our dry loft and there it stayed until I came across it whilst I was looking for something to list on ebay. This was my kitchen radio etc for many years in the 1980's onwards into the 90's.
